Que pasa, Hope everyone is good. If you have looked at my homepage, you will see that I have a new team. We found out about 4 days ago. We have embraced are new teams. There was some frustration at first, but we know it is Gods will for us. That gave me peace about it right away. I think alot of us felt like we didn’t get enough time, being that the last 2 months were all squad month. So it was chaos in Jaco with everyone at the base. We are blessed however to have a small squad of only 21, not counting squad leaders. We were thankful for our time together and we got to know eachother really well and bond. We all take community to heart and when that happens it hurts for some people. But we are strong.

So there is that. We are now with are new teams in Panama. Our team is by Boquete  Panama. We are about a half hour north of David, Panama. We are staying at a YWAM base. Its in the country, really beautiful. It reminds me of the farm in Granada. YWAM bases are all over the world. We got here on the night of March 17th. We got to meet Debbie are host. She is from Wisconsin. She is someone the Lord is really using well. She has been here 25 years now. She really has a passion for the indeginous tribes here in Panama. I have loved her stories so far. I am going to tell one of them. There are a lot of kids from 9 up too 24 that I have noticed. A lot of teens are doing the dts program and other leadership programs. We have a really nice living situation here. Like we have had at pretty much all of our host locations so far. I know I told a lot of you I would be in tents but so far it hasn’t been that way. We are not in Asia or Africa yet… We are living in a dorm style room with bunks this month.

So far we have taught english to the dts students here. Also we got to teach a bible study to some of the teens here. The first lesson was on the bible itself. We will be doing that twice a week. Also we will be helping to set up for a 25 year celebration for the YWAM base. They haven’t given us a specific schedule. It is a day by day basis but Debbie told us a bunch of things we will be doing.

I would like to end with telling you a story about Debbie. So she was in a prayer group with some people. As they were praying Debbie started to speak in tounges for the first time and only time and she was crying. Then her husband gave her a look, but then someone eventually interpreted for her. God said have you considered my people the … I ‘m not going to try and spell it, its a long tribe name, but the crazy thing is as she was telling us this she said that particular tribe she had no feelings for. She really had a heart for the other tribes. But these people she said were always angry and without emotion. She no real heartfelt feelings for this one. Now she loves them! Crazy how God works and its not like He forced them to go after them, Debbie said it was like he offered it to them. I thought it was such a cool story. Just wanted to share that with you. When you do this type of trip you hear stories like this a lot. I will try and share more if I remember. Blessings!

Could use prayer for receiveing Gods love. Pray for YWAM Base that the Lord continues to bless this place. Keep praying for Jaco as well. That more people receive Christ. Carters migraines, pray for healing to come to completion. Team unity ( John 15:12 This is my commandment , that you love one another.) Also whatever else God puts on your heart.:)
