Hello everyone, we are at a new location in Manzini, Swaziland! After spending a week with our parents. We are now going to be here for about 3 more weeks. It all squad month! So our whole squad will be together and not split up into our teams across the country. With our parents we stayed in a hostel that our host rented out for a week.

A lot of the racers were really excited to see their parents. We surprised them with signs that we worked on the night before, as they were pulling up in the buses. I wrote down what I got from listening prayer for them on a card and laid it on there bed. It was a great week.

Our parents got to serve alongside of us with Adventures in Missions in Swaziland. Adventures has what they call care points all over Swaziland. It is basically an after-school program for kids who want to pursue education. They provide support. Their goal is to raise up leaders from the community to go out and make a difference. Basically, empowering the locals to make an impact on their community. We played with children from ages 3 to 15. There were mostly children there. We just loved on the kids. Also, we went on home visits. Kind of like evangelism and just getting to know the family and encouraging them. I’m so glad that my parents got to be a part of that. I don’t think it is really there thing necessarily to go up and talk to strangers, my mom even said it is not her thing. So, I hope that was a stepping stone for them.

They were awesome all week long. God is working in them. I am glad that I got to see them for a bit.

As well as ministry, we also did worship every night. It was 3 full days of activities. We had a pretty impactful worship the 3rdnight. We prayed over my teammate’s mom, Rachael. It was very emotional day for him. The Holy Spirit moves during worship and I know the Holy spirit was working that night. The Lord allowed her to stand up.

If you want to give to this ministry, you can through Adventures in Missions Swaziland. Kids don’t have a lot. There is no middle class, just rich and poor. It would break your heart if you saw these kids. Most importantly pray that the men would act like men and take care of their families and whatever the Lord puts on your heart.

Also, would like to remind you and would like to encourage you to pray about giving. I have worked with a lot of different organizations and have seen some things that are hard to see. Whether that’s poverty or just bad situations in general. But I have worked with and have sat with people that are so generous and have given there lives to help others. I find it hard when I’m back in America to know who to give too. But I have seen firsthand what these hosts are doing that I have been living with, so I can vouch for them. Here is a list of them

Zolono, Honduras, His Hands for Honduras: Sponsor kids who are going to bible school.

Granada, Nicaragua: Reap Granda- AIM base like in Nicaragua.

Jaco, Costa Rica :Oceans Edge-  They work with the government to change the community of Jaco, Costa Rica.

Panama:YWAM- Youth With A Mission. – They send out missionaries. They are a well-known ministry- worldwide.

Wycliffe- Ambon Indonesia- A worldwide organization that translates bibles into local languages.

Vietnam: English clubs

Battambang, Cambodia: Ezra Ministries- They teach young kids English.

Chanig Mai, Thailand: Agape home- Home for orphans. A chance for child sponsorship or adoption.

Bulawayo, Zimbabwe: Hope Ministries. THEY NEED BIBLES! A lot of other things. You would cry if you saw the kids clothing. There is a lot here to give for.

Do not let your left hand know what your right is doing. When you give do not sound a trumpet as the hyocrites do, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you they have their reward in full. (Jesus)

Prayer requests:

That the Lord would open doors for ministry, especially home visits, that the Lord would go behind us and before us.

That our squad would finish the race strong. That God would continue to grow us.

Pray with me that revival would happen in America. That the world would see the greatest acts of giving the world has ever seen and that it would glorify Jesus. That CNN would be puzzled by the amount of giving America has been doing. Radical. But that it would make God look amazing.
