Dumela! Hello! 36 more days and the race will be over. As the end is getting closer I’ve been thinking what the Lord has for me next. Every decision I make is based off what His will is. The more I trust Him the more I know what He has for me is good. I haven’t got anything specific from the Lord, so as of now I think I will just go home and go back to school. I would like to travel and visit some people from the race too.

Reminder: If anyone in the Alexandria area that has supported me would like to come to a presentation about my trip a few months after I get back, let me know in the comments section. Nothing planned yet. But if anyone is even a little interested. Please let me know. Nothing is set in stone as of now. But I would like feedback?

We have only have 18 days of ministry in South Africa (same as Panama) and then we will head to Cape Town for Final Debrief. Seven days left here in Lesotho.

The ministry here has been interesting. There has been a lot of miscommunication. But when we have done things it has been fun. We are in Mokhotlong Lesotho. It is a very small country inside of South Africa. The whole region is mountainous. We are at a very high altitude. Lesotho has the highest elevation of any country in Africa. It is pretty remote. The only way to get wifi here is at a internet cafe. But they don’t serve coffee.

Our Hosts are from Lesotho. Matsolo and Ntsimane are their names.  They have a main church in town called Harvesters Bible Church. Our team doesn’t see them all that often. But we see their daughter a lot “Joy”. She cooks for us at the mission house where we stay with the caretaker’s wife and their 3-year-old boy. They have 12 others churches in the area as well. I got to preach at a church in a village about 35 kilometers away in the mountains. They have hosted numerous world race teams and other teams from other organizations as well. It has been fun to be back with the team coming from all squad month.

I must say too that this month has reminded me of the pace in Africa. It is a lot slower. When we were in Zim it was like this a little too. Not as fast paced as America. Like my teammate told me Western culture isn’t better just different. Well said. Central America was similar as well. Depending on where our host were from. We had American hosts a lot of times, which made a difference.

Let me share what we have been doing. We have prison ministry every Wednesday for an hour. We share a testimony and a word with them. I have had the pleasure of sharing my testimony and sharing a word. We have been there 2 times. I shared on contrasting the righteous and the wicked and how Solomon in proverbs is driving the point that it is better to be righteous than wicked. He wouldn’t say that over and over again if we didn’t have desires to turn away from righteousness. I have gotten to speak a lot this month which has helped me tremendously.

Also, we have been sharing at the local district hospital here every morning. Surprisingly the hospital is pretty nice. Three people from our team go and one person shares every morning to the patients waiting to be checked in. Then they can have prayer if they want. Be praying for healings and for children with malnutrition. We went to the hospital on a separate visit and we got to pray for children with malnutrition. We are supposed to go every week, but we missed a week. On Sundays we get to preach and share our testimonies. Harvesters church also have a twice a week program called soup kitchen. They feed locals at the hospital and we got to pray for them and share a message.

It was awesome! Praying in faith that they will recover. Being able to use my mouth and proclaim truth has been life giving and has given me more confidence this month.

Me personally I am continuing to learn about conflict and just going for it. Not thinking what the other person is going to say but just man-ing up having a conversation I know needs to be had. The more you think about it the harder it gets. So I don’t think. I take it to God first always Him first. But I say I am a Christian and I ask the Lord for more of his love, His provision, His power in my life in my prayers. If I’m not willing to do what is necessary to make peace, how can I expect Gods blessings in my life and answered prayers. Trust me I want all God has for me, but I have to be willing and obedient like a child of my father in heaven. That gives me incentive to have conversations when I get upset with someone and not letting it build. Even though I would rather not. Also I want my brother and sisters in Christ especially to know how I really feel. I don’t want to give my people a wrong impression of me. There is so much growth to be had in conflict. You realize you were wrong….  Then you get humbled and you learn about yourself. When you talk about your conflict, you get both sides of the story. I’ve been with this team for a while, the guys all year! It has been good. Still learning. Forgive me if I have talked about this already in previous blogs. But the Lord is pushing me to new levels in this area.

Obey God from His word in your Spirit, heart, mind and scripture. Leave the consequences to Him.  “Obey God leave the consequences to Him.”

Prayer requests: RAIN IN LESOTHO! Water has been off for about 11 days. That it would show Gods Glory.
