Hello everyone, We are in Jaco, Costa Rica. It is beautiful here. It is a tourist town on the ocean. We spent some time on the beach our first day here and it was surreal. I am about to post pictures on facebook. But our squad knows that we are here for so much more. In the glamour is a lot of partying and prostitution that is encourged. The locals boys we are told, look up to these men that are involved. But our ministry host says that there has been a lot of progress that has been made in the years that they have posted up shop here. They have some different ministries they do here. They partner with a church called horizon church. They have a surf ministry, childrens ministry and they need help with construction here at there base.
I ‘ve only been here a few days so I will have more soon. I don’t have a lot of pictures from our second month, but still I will post some. This adventure has been really interesting so far. Could use prayer for staying engaged with my team. I’m listening to lies that I’m alone and nobody cares. The enemy is trying to create division. I’ve made progress but I find myself isolating thinking nobody understands me. God is so Good. Thanks for all your prayers.
