Today is my birthday. I'm 29 and it's weird. Not because I'm almost 30, but because today I'm committing to a dream.

And on this day I'd like to invite you to join me in this dream.

Since March of 2013, I've been working with Adventures in Missions in Gainesville, Georgia. Since 1989 Adventures in Missions has sent out over 100,000 missionaries, myself included, into the field to serve and work with the spiritually deprived and physically hungry.

I took a position in the marketing department and I'm utilizing a skill set that can benefit hundreds if not thousands of people. From creating video content for missionaries around the world that, to inspiring this nation to be a catalyst for Christ and help end injustice around the world, I will tell you that I'm humbled to have this opportunity.

I will tell you that serving in this capacity has been one of the most fruitful times of my life. I'm continuing to walk out this dream and the further I go I can see the hands of my heavenly father leading me through a reality that I never thought would have been possible a few years ago.

Some examples of my work/involvement in projects can be found below:

From filming at Training Camp in May and encouraging missionaries to come out and grow exponentially
to gathering content in Guatemala to elaborate on the partnership Adventures in missions has with Food for the Poor.

We're bringing His kingdom on earth. We're telling stories and reminding people what matters and what doesn't. There are more stories that will be told in the near future, more opportunities to be birthed, and on my birthday I'm standing on a soap box and making a plea:

There are over 110 of us working locally here in the main headquarters and all of us are support based missionaries. I have a salary however half of it needs to be support raised. Though I'm living in America, I am still a missionary.

If you can help support me financially I will be able to go further, reach more people, and maintain/purchase the video equipment that I own or am in need of. If you'd like to know more or have a means to help me acquire the necessary gear. Please contact me.

I took a huge pay cut to be here. I've been paying off my student loans and praise God I am finally over the halfway mark.  Occasionally filming weddings has certainly helped me climb that mountain! Now, I'm slowly saving money to pay for the maintenance of my current camera gear and purchase stabilization equipment. It's expensive. It's lofty. But I believe it's possible and more so worth it.

If you can commit monthly that would be ideal but one time donations certainly help. There are tons of needs out there and I don't want to encourage you to deviate from where God is calling you to give. I am in need of support, but there are millions that are in bondage. I am asking you to pray and ask if this, if I am, someone that you are willing to support while I'm on the field.

If you're a racer or a missionary and are using any of my 1 minute 11 second videos I produced to support raise for your trip, will you support me?

If you'd like to sew into what God is doing here, with what He is doing in me, please support me through this blog. If you can share my work, share this blog, with others and help me get more side projects. That would be a huge help but I certainly want to keep my time focused on the work at hand here.

Dreams are becoming reality. I'm serving the least of these and encouraging the body to live, to move, and to love.
