Yesterday while at work I was reflecting on the meaning of Good Friday and Easter and what the Lord did for us. I was feeling particularly burdened by the weight of my sins that day and generally not in a fantastic mood, it was a busy day at Rice Monkeys and I just felt so lost in it all. Then I remembered of all days to be reminded of Christ’s sacrifice what better day than Good Friday! I realized that this day and Easter really represent the freedom that we have in the Lord, that we are no longer bound in Sin but set free through his death and resurrection! It is such a simple reminder but moved me so powerfully that in all this things Christ makes us anew! As I am preparing to start fundraising and moving forward in my faith I am so grateful that no worldly thing can hold me back, that in Christ I AM a new creation and can step forward into this with boldness!
