Hello all!

This is the “about me” section so let me tell you about myself!

I’ll start with I’m terrible with introduction (see above), and writing has never been my strong suite however I will do my best so you can better know me and my heart. I was born and raised in Southwestern Colorado, between Durango and outside of Mancos for my whole life. I went to high school in Durango and then moved there to attend Fort Lewis College for a BA degree in Psychology. Living in Durango has been an amazing experience but a hard one spiritually, as an estimated 80% of people in Durango are not believers. I has provided me a unique experience of cultures however I have always felt like an outsider in my faith and community has been hard to find. However I have been blessed even in this with some amazing Christians and other people in my life who have encouraged me to grow. I spent my summer’s in-between college years work at Sonlight Christian Camp outside of Pagosa Springs Colorado. Sonlight has given me so much, a deep love for the outdoors and backpacking, a deeper richer faith and a community that is a family to me to do life even after the summers ended. It has made me the man of God I am today and I am STOKED to work there for one last summer this upcoming summer. My college ministry Rooted also gave me so much, the biggest being my first international missions trip experience in Mole Saint Nicholas Haiti. I have absolutely fallen in love with the mission base and community there as well as Haiti as a whole. It was these mission trips and my love of adventure and serving others that I decided to do the World Race and I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store.
