By the time you get this update, we will be on our way to the airport for our flight home. Our organization follows World Health Organization recommendations as well as few other influential groups and has decided to bring us home; our race has ended.

The attitude most racers share is “it could be cool” or “it’ll be a story either way” or “when would we get to do this again?” This is what leads us to get into cars with strangers, end up in places you’d never think of, or eat street food out of a strangers hand. It’s also what leads us to giveaway our tents or sleeping mats, spend our food money on someone’s rent, or stop to pray for someone we pass on the sidewalk. The race is over. We’re coming home. No jobs. No house. No prospects. So, it’s kind of exactly like the race. But together we sit and ask “turn down for what?”

The life we live is simple – love as God does and in everything, try to share Him with others. We can do that anywhere; we’ll continue wherever we end up, doing whatever we do.

We still have stories to share, though. Please keep an eye out for a few more blogs to come so we can wrap up the drafts and ideas we haven’t had a chance to share yet.

Thank you for your support in all of this and we look forward to seeing you sooner than we though. If you have any questions or concerns about us, our organization, or your financial support, please contact me at [email protected]
