Okay, Africa. So quick look at travel day. Van ride from Crystal Beach to Manila, flight from Manila to Hong Kong, flight from Hong Kong to South Africa, flight from South Africa to Bulawayo, stay the night in Bulawayo, then a 7 hour bus ride from Bulawayo to Victoria Falls. It was about 5 days of travel, not the most fun I’ve ever had, but definitely made the top 5 (sarcasm). So we’re finally here in Vic. Falls. Our ministry is a mix of things. We go out to schools and do skits, lead worship, and give testimonies. We speak at church on Sundays. And just about every day we play soccer with a giant group of people around 4:00. Its pretty awesome. We’re staying in a pretty cramped house, seven people one bathroom, but its got electricity, hot running water, and a full kitchen. Pretty good if you ask me, especially after living in a tent for a month. We live with Mom, real name Jessica, and a few other guys, Tiche, Ronnie, and Owen. Those three guys are 3 of 4 of our ministry hosts. They do exactly what you would expect a host to do, they help us not get lost on the way to ministry and set up ministry opportunities for us. We cook our own meals, so almost every day we go the grocery store and two people pick out what we’re having for dinner. For much it’s mainly pb&j, and for breakfast it’s cereal and fruit. I like my new team, they’re pretty great. God’s been doing a lot in my prayer life in these past two weeks, teaching me to pray big things and boldly believe that He’ll answer those prayers. So, so far it’s been pretty awesome, and I think God’s gonna do some awesome stuff in me and through me this month.
