Greetings from Manukau!  We are at our first ministry location and WOW!!!  God is moving in so many ways here!!!  This ministry is incredible.  Our contact is Tony Bracefield “Mr. B” as the kids call him.  His love and passion to reach out to his local community is very encouraging.  He is married to a lovely wife who has just as much passion and love for these kids as he does, he has 5 kids, works 3 jobs (one is a Pastor at Redeemer Church), he goes out every Sunday for “Eggsvangelism”(Eggsvangelism blog coming), he is building a little elementary school on his property right next to his house that he recently got the state to fund so it will be free for all the inner city special needs families, and also on his property he has a big portable room with two pool tables, ping pong table, couches and foozball table and outside he has a trampeline and slides for the neighborhood kids to come hang out.  We are working with the inner city kids whose parents are either in jail, in gangs, on drugs and most of the kids who are brother and sister are split up into different houses so this place gives them a chance to come together and hang out in a safe place while having fun and learning about our Savior Jesus!  The kids are awesome and every day we drive down to pick them up or just driving through the neighborhood, they come running out, yelling our names, waving to say Hi and asking if we are doing anything today!  The kids are filled with so much joy and love and they soak up every second you are there with them…  If only they knew how special they are and that we are the ones that have been blessed… Soon they will!  God is working on so many of their hearts already!  Just the short amount of time we have been here we have seen changes in some of the kids: with stepping up praying for every one, blessing the food and asking great questions about Jesus and the Bible!  Please be praying for Redeemer Church, Mr. B and his family and the ministry here!
