Malaysian Jungle Part 2

Along the river/creek is where a few of us did most of our ministry! The village was building 3 Chalets (houses). There was a team that came a month before us and helped them start the project and we had the great opportunity to help them almost finish the project. The Chalets are for future missionaries and guests. The people there were wonderful! The whole time we were working they would bring us food and drinks!… Fresh mangos, bananas, random plants and leaves that they wanted us to try!!… Tea, Coffee and my favorite milk tea!! It was delicious!
I loved the experience and again God opened my eyes to much more! It is amazing that God loves us (the WHOLE world) so much that His presence is in the middle of the Malaysian Jungle!! These people are Christians, but the first time they saw a non-villager was only 10 years ago. A tree company began to make its way through the jungle and basically ran into this tribe. However, a missionairy from generations past litterally went hiking into the middle of the Malaysian Jungle to spread the Good News of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ!!! How awesome is that!!! From what they said there are anywhere from 20 to 25 tribes that are spread out deeper into the jungle and there is actually a young English man who has set out with just the clothes on his back, a bible and the Good News and he is hiking through the jungle in search of them, so please be praying for him!
Also, another part of our ministry here was teaching the kids. Every morning they arrived at the church eager to learn! The teaching consisted of English, numbers, counting, songs, scripture and stories! And every night they would come to the church and have worship, I loved it!!! They would sing and dance for at least an hour, every night!!!
