Thank you Lord for your goodness and unconditional love!
So part 2 of Eternal Tuesday!
I want to start by saying that I have always been extremely hesitant sharing the gospel with youth and especially kids. Only because I questioned if kids could truly make the decision to accept Christ and to know what it truly means. Thankfully to God’s goodness and patience, He has eventually taught me that a child can make that choice and it does impact and change their life! As God began to work on teaching me this, I started to hear testimonies from several racers, fellow teammates and other brothers and sisters in Chrsit… A lot more of them than I expected made the decision to accept Christ and begin their relationship with the Lord when they were kids. Some of their testimonies blew my mind! The fact is, the decision that they made at such a young age has influenced the decisions they have made throughout their life and to this day!.. So, who am I to judge and say that a kid can’t make this choice and that I shouldn’t share the good news with a child nor ask them if they would like to accept Christ into their life so that they can have a relationship with the LORD!?…
So, the other day at our feeding program it was my turn to share a story out of the Bible. I decided to do one out of the book of Daniel pertaining to the image of gold and the fiery furnace… After I shared the story with Pastor June translating everything, the good news just started to come out!… As I asked questions, the kids didn’t just answer, they shouted their answers! I don’t know the exact number, but it was around 60 kids shouting out that they wanted a relationship with the LORD Jesus Christ and wanted to ask Him into their lives!!! It was Amazing!! Thank you Lord!!!
Also, God is so good, no matter how wrong I am, He continues to pursue me and show me the truth and light, His truth and light!!! Thank you LORD Jesus! All the glory goes to You and Your Kingdom!!!
