Well after about 4 days of travel, layovers in Madrid, Rome, and Ethiopia we have arrived in Africa! We will be in Abidjan for a couple days for orientation and then depart for Bouake. We will be here for 7-8 days going around and talking to truck drivers in the port about Jesus and spreading as much love and joy as possible. We got a chance to do some of that today and had about 10 men come to Christ as a result!

It’s amazing to see God at work in this community that so desperately needs Him. After our time in Bouake we will be in San Pedro before leaving for Ghana for our next month of ministry. The people in this community are very eager to hear the gospel and will listen to every word until you are done, then ask questions. They are so willing to share what little they have. We had a family of about 5 or 6 kids just invite us in for dinner and went out of their way to please us. I can’t get over how kind the people are. And of course when the kids see us coming, they mob us.

Here, the kids are teaching us their numbers in French:

I can’t wait for the next 3 months here in Africa, God is already moving and it’s incredible to see. I probably won’t have good internet after we leave in the morning, but I will update you all as soon as I can! Thank you for your prayers as we move around this great country.
