Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
I hope this letter finds you well. For the past 6 years since I graduated college I have been living in working in Dallas. While I feel well established here and have made some amazing friends, the time has come for a new chapter in my life. A few months ago I heard about an opportunity called The World Race. The World Race is a Christian mission trip put on through Adventures in Missions that sends people out across the world to 11 different countries in 11 months to serve those less fortunate in whatever ways we are able. We will be doing everything from working with orphans, teaching English, planting new churches, ministering to victims of human trafficking, and whatever else we are called to do all while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Starting in January, my team of 55 and I will be travelling to Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Montenegro, Romania, Cambodia, Thailand, and Malaysia.
I am happy that God has called me to this great opportunity and excited to see the hope and love I can help bring to His people on this journey. First and foremost I am asking for your thoughts and prayers for me and my team. Pray that God will give us the right words to say, direct our path, and keep us safe. I am also asking that if you are able to partner with and support me financially I would greatly appreciate anything you are able to give. I have no doubt that as God has called me to this journey, He will also provide. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and would love for you to partner with me. In all I need to raise $10,000 by December 16, 2016, and the full amount of $16,600 by April 30, 2017.
