Hey! Thanks for checking out my blog! As you know, the World Race is NOT an inexpensive venture, but that’s ok because nothing is too big for my God! As a World Racer, I am responsible for raising $14,300 for the race. This includes: all of my meals, housing, planes, trains, and automobiles, as well as training camps, visas, etc. What’s NOT included: vaccinations ($1,800worth! ouch!), gear (backpack, sleeping pad, tent, etc), and travel to/from New York City for our departure date.
Typically, I feel awkward asking for money, but that’s not the case with the WR. I have come to discover that I am not asking for just myself, but rather for those I have yet to encounter. The children housed in refugee camps in Northern Thailand NEED a voice of hope – I could be that voice.. The young girls and women working in the brothels in the slums of Cambodia NEED to know they are loved – I could be that love. The forgotten orphans in Africa NEED to be introduced to their heavenly Father – I could be the face of God. There is a dire need for Believers all over the world to infiltrate, influence, and ignite a burning passion in our global family for our Lord Jesus Christ. I believe God is calling me to be his witness, his disciple, and his representative throughout the world.
As you can imagine, I’ve been working extremely hard raising support, but I still have about $5,000 to go! Would you be willing to financially partner with me in this ministry?
