The World Race doesn’t change you. There’s not an 11 step program. The World Race is an experience that’ll put you in situations that are uncomfortable. You can choose in and let the Lord mold you into being more like Christ. Or you can end these 11 months the same person you were before. Eventually, you’ll realize you can’t do this by yourself. You will be physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally worn out each day. This experience will bring you to a point where you can’t take one more step. It’ll bring you to a point where all you can depend on is the Lord to fill you daily. It’s up to you. Here’s what happens when you choose in.
Choose in. The World Race isn’t easy. Team leading isn’t easy. But if you choose in and let God take over and you just follow then that’s when the change comes. He will use you. Be willing to follow. It’ll be the best and most rewarding year of your life. And I’m only in month 4.
