Less than a month I will quit my job.
Less than a month I will move back home with my parents.
Less than a month to eat all the BBQ and Chickfila I can.
Less than a month I will be saying “see you later” to family and friends for a year.
Less than a month I will be at Launch reunited with my family getting ready to fly out to Nepal.
This next month is gonna be a wild one. Training camp was unreal. You have no schedule. One thing I got out of training camp was to enjoy each moment(live in the moment) because you can’t control what’s gonna happen. The Lord has each of us right where He wants us. Don’t pass up an opportunity to minister/reach out to those around you. The world is full of lost and broken people searching for some kind of hope. We have that hope. It’s only found in Jesus.
I’ve been able to share my experience at training camp and how the Lord has led me to The World Race to minister to my coworkers and friends. People ask about what I’m doing and then I get to share how I’ve put my faith and trust in God and how He has provided. He is working. There’s a revival going on at my work. It’s all because of Him.
These next few weeks are gonna go quick but learning to just sit and listen to what God is teaching us is important. During worship one night at training camp my body became tense and mouth was closed shut. The Lord wanted to teach me something. Just stand here and listen. Don’t speak. I could feel Him saying just rest here in my presence. “Nothing of this world will ever be more important than your relationship with me.”
Less than a month before I leave the country for 11 months but He’s not done working here. He’s still using us/you wherever you are. Don’t miss what He’s teaching you. Life can get busy but we need to learn to just sit, listen and be still to what our Father is teaching us.
