First off, I’m not one who likes to write or start up a blog. However, I am stoked about getting this blog rolling so family, friends and supporters can keep up with what God is doing through my life as well as through my team’s lives while on the world race.
The World Race is a missions opportunity to serve in 11 countries in 11 months. I have been accepted for the July 2014 route 4 squad. The World Race was started back in 2006 and has been sending teams across many countries of the world to share the love of Christ. This is not an 11 month vacation. It is a calling to go and serve the lost and broken world by taking the hope, grace and love of Christ to them. My team and I will have many different ministry opportunities throughout the race such as preaching, street evangelism, teaching English, sports ministry, construction and any other ways we are called to serve.
The 11 countries that my team and I will be traveling and ministering through are Swaziland, Botswana, South Africa, Latvia, Estonia, Nepal, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Nicaragua and Guatemala.
I just ask that you will keep my team and I in your prayers leading up to and while we are on the field. Most importantly that those we come in contact with, whether in airports, markets or walking on the street, will see Jesus, not us. I also just ask that you start praying for those we will be ministering to while on the race. Also, if you feel led to help me financially just click on the ‘support me’ link.
