Welcome and Thanks for visiting my blog for The World Race!

Just to jump right in, I’m a Capricorn, born January 13, 1988. I graduated from the renowned verdant green institution, North Carolina Central University (EAGLE PRIDE)! I conquered both my Bachelors and Master’s Degree from this astounding Academia, in Family and Consumer Science with a concentration in Textile, Apparel Design. Yes, I’m a Seamstress and my favorite movie is “What’s Love Got to do With it”. I recently moved to Charlotte, N.C. to pursue my fashion career and broaden my network connections; with above average success, there’s still this void that needs to be filled.

Eternally faithful, God has opened a door for me to seek this desire, leave my comforts and truly brave the storm.

After praying and praying, asking God “What is my purpose”? I was introduced to The World Race. The World Race, organized by Adventures In Missions (AIM), is a program that allows participants to serve in 11 countries in 11 months. It still amazes me that a ministry exists which suits my personal style, incorporating adventure, travel, community and service. God truly answered my prayers by allowing me to participate in January 2018.

Thanks for taking the time to read this blog. Please feel free to leave comments in my contact section below. Remember to always keep God first and all others will follow. Please support my mission through donations and prayer.

Thanks and God Bless,

John Gray, Jr.
