Receently we just got back from Ireland for an Awakening Conference full of worship and teaching that really refreshed us and now we’re in Romania. It’s hard to believe that we’re less than three months left in this. Seeing God change lives around the world has been incredible and I pray that the stories and photos you’ve seen have also made an impact on you. Your gifts and prayers have been huge and have made a world impact.
Not only do we see God change lives outside of us but within us personally and as a family in a spiritual squad we have. We’ve learned to instill truth and love into each other and have seen others on our squad change lives in ways that we weren’t gifted to do. These squadmates have become dear to me, friends for a lifetime, and we pray and support each other in many ways. We want to start this journey together and finish it together strong, because without one then a lot of lives aren’t impacted.
Unfortunately a few on our squad are still short a lot in the support they need to continue going and if they aren’t able to have a certain amount supported by September 20th, then five of our squad/family member will have to go home and not finish this journey with the rest of us. Nate Evans is a man who loves the Lord and people and has incredible gifts on this Race that’s changing a world, Catherine Pollock and Courtney Folwick have such a heart for the ministries, Kristi Kaeli takes care not only of the people around the world but her own team in many ways, and Jonathan Snyder has became a dearest friend of mine. David Stothart loves kids and serving God, growing so much this year.
Money is always treated like a stigmatic issue, but I ask you to please consider giving to one of these five people or even a small donation to all of them. Ten dollars to one person is only two McDonald’s meal, and I believe that’s not as important as the lives they are showing for the Kingdom of God in Christ in places where it’s needed badly.
I strongly ask you all, on behalf of your heart for the gospel to have a willingness to give whatever the Lord may ask of within the next few days. Don’t let money be an issue, because it shouldn’t be, but let generosity be the heart of it all. These people have become family to us and if we lose the five then we will miss a huge impact for our squad for the last two months and will lose family members who don’t finish with us since being with us Day 1.
