Hello readers!! As some of you might already know, our team has made it here to Nepal for our 5th month out of 11 on the world race!!
We have been privileged to partner with different ministries throughout the countries we visit, being used as hands and feet where ever we may be needed. It’s been such a joy working with my team and doing the work Christ has called us to do.
This month is a season of change. We have been assigned new teams!! It’s a chance for each individual to adapt, to learn from different people, to be uncomfortable, and to grow.
In addition to the changes, I and along with two other squad members (Tee and Meredith) are raised up to be the new Squad Leaders for the rest of the race!! We are being trained by two of the current squad leaders for the rest of this month, then after that, it’s our show!
We are excited to step into this new leadership role. We trust that as God calls, He also equips and provides!!
With that being said, I am behind on my fundraising 🙁 I currently have $11,734. I have missed the final deadline for getting to $18,100 last April. I have been given up to June 6th to reach $15,000 in order for me to stay on this race!!
I am prepared to learn and grow as a squad leader and pour into the people in my squad, but I need all my focus and energy to encourage those around me as we continue on this race. To be able to do what I’m called to do to the best of my ability.
It would be such a relief if I did not have to worry about financial deadlines as I am being trained to lead others for the next 6 months!
