My name is Joe Takayoshi and I am 18 years old. I am currently a senior at Westfield High School in Westfield, Indiana. Here is some info about me:
In the past I have been on three mission trips, two to Shepherd Community Center on the East side of Indianapolis, and most recently to Chichicastenango, Guatemala. These trips have given me the passion for mission work that led to take this Gap Year!!!
I am a huge New England Patriots fan despite growing up in Indiana (its been hard). In addition to that I am an Indiana Pacers fan and a Purdue sports fan.
I am a dedicated movie fan, especially Star Wars and superhero movies. I’d love to challenge anyone to some trivia on these topics.
I love all of my family and friends and am so thankful for them.
Lastly, I am super stoked for the opportunity to travel the world and work as the hands and feet of Jesus. I truly believe this would be a life-changing experience and I can’t wait to see what the experiences teach me.
