My morning consisted of wrestling with the two pit bulls David has, cutting firewood, and getting some more Dr. Pepper. Later, our 4 teams here headed out to the mountain top to an plantation grove that Scarlett’s brother owns so we could pick oranges for the special needs home we will be helping out. The road up was long and sketchy, but the views on top were amazing. Some of us guys are already wanting to do some camping there.
Been sleeping on the balcony these last couple of nights. It gets chilly and wakes me up, but I like being woken up at random times in the night to see the stars. This place is such a place of peace. In Cambodia, it felt like a time to pour out. Here, it feels like a time I can rest and restore.
