In the morning I visited a Buddhist temple nearby. There are more of them than there are churches back at home. Around 4 AM there are about 2 or 3 I can hear over their intercoms as they pray. Definitely could learn from that kind of dedication.
In addition to my exploration of the city, I found some cafes, restaurants, and a place to play pool. While I wasn’t too great at it on a bowed table, I’m sure I would be no better on a flat one
