After another week of work in Draganesti, Gap L has finished our Romania ministry and moved on to our first debrief in Brasov, a city in northern Romania. We’re here for a time of rest, lots of fun, time to process and work through what God is doing in us, and soak up as much of the Spirit as we can before heading on to Ukraine this Tuesday.

Here are some photos of what the end of ministry in Romania looked like…

My team got the chance to run a children’s ministry in Coteana every Saturday for our hosts there.

These were two of Team Vessel’s hosts at Hope Church, Sami and Raluca. They hosts a small church in their home in Coteana, where 5-7 women who are beginning to know the Lord come weekly for the Word and worship. These two are young, but their faith is extraordinary. The Lord is stretching them both in so many ways, and it was an honor to get to know them both. Keep praying for their faithful ministry in Coteana!

One of Gap L’s women painted this and hung it in the kitchen as a reminder of who the Lord has called us to be and the high standards he expects of his Church. Living with the whole squad has been a wild ride!

Our last day in Draganesti was my 19th birthday, and the Lord was so good to me that day. I was amazed at how well the squad and my team loved me, and I got to have some sweet time with the Father in the afternoon by an open, sunny field.

Europe seriously knows how to do transportation, let me tell you! En route to Brasov…

We have 2 sessions every day here at debrief, which means cramming all 40 of us into a tiny hostel basement and filling the whole building with our worship. Gonna seriously miss being with my pocket-size church next month.

We’ve had lots of time to explore the city these last few days. What a serious joy it is to watch God deepen and build relationships in the squad – and Europe never ceases to amaze me, either.

Being in Europe in the autumn has been a lifelong dream of mine, and the Father has been showing me his love so intimately these last few days as I’ve seen quite a few of these small dreams be fulfilled. The cobblestoned streets in the rain and warm light drifting out of cafes all around have the sweetest gifts, and I’ve been reminded over and over again of how he satisfies our desires. The other day, several of us climbed the mountain Brasov lies under, and oh boy, what a view! I’m shown continually what it means to be Abba’s beloved son.

Thank you for praying and supporting me – it’s been a beautiful, full month!
