My life started to change about a year ago when I did a spiritual gifts class with my Sunday school. It’s quite amazing how something as simple as a class can change your perspective on life or at least what you might like to do with your life… During the class I made several discoveries about myself, the first one being my gifts of Mercy and Faith and also finding out that I have a passion for missions. I guess this was start of my journey to applying for the World Race. However I didn’t get the final push until Sarah Shoup a former world racer and two friends that she met on the race came to my Sunday school and shared their experiences. I guess this was the final push. With this being said, I applied for the world race and got accepted. Though the race has yet to start, I think I’m prepared for the life changing experiences. I also am excited to see what God has in plan for me and my entire team as we enter this journey together.
