How often do we go through life not thinking twice about all we are blessed with. It is nothing to turn on the sink or a light switch, choose what we want to eat or drink, or determine the most ideal temperature of our house year round… I know this sounds like I am beating on a drum that every missionary beats on, but how many times do we need to beat on it for it to actually set in…? This is a video shot at a garbage dump we visited in Nicaragua. There
are people living here and sifting through trash just to make ends meet.
We decided to put our money together and bless these people with water, food, and etc. It might just be enough to get them through a few days, but a few days of food and the knowledge that God loves them, beats a lifetime of food and a life wasted on selfishness. One thing I love about God is that He is not to good to for the desolate.
