It has been some time. So let’s get right into it.
India?
Awesome. I loved it.
The people are kind and friendly and truly amazing.
And yes… for all those that are wondering… the food is incredible!!
And cheap…!!!
And ready for this one…. The best on the world race!!!
Of all 13 countries… India was by far the best food.
(Nepal is second… Thailand coming in third)
Best Month/Favorite Country…?
South Sudan…
Why?
Because it was hard… and because I got to see what Hope really looks and feels like
Also…
Cambodia
Why?… my 28 kids… the orphanage at CHA.
Least favorite…
Tanzania
Most mosquito bites…
might be a surprise… Malaysia
Hardest ministry…

Weird things…
Going faster than 30 miles an hour. Literally haven’t gone that fast in a year.
Wanting to take a picture of every meal. That’s how precious they are.
You quickly realize how amazing the United States is. We are so blessed. So so blessed.
Ice…. Just ice in general. Cold drinks.
Electricity that stays on all day.
I saw my computer running low the first day back and immediately looked for a plug and figured I’d get the charge “while I could”… hahahaha!!!
I love it.
Not wanting to pay for a haircut because the world going rate is 50 cents…
Great moments!!!
My brother Andy calling and telling me that he loved me…
Visiting my Grandmother in upstate New York….
And her looking at my brother (vegetarian for like 10+ years)… with the tilted head…you still don’t eat meat? And watching her at 89 years old, process this fact… like… how is this possible? hahaha!!
Seeing my two brothers there waiting for me at the airport!!!
I made a joke a Skype a couple weeks back about how I wanted banners!!
And sure enough there was a banner. It may have been an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper. But it was a banner!
You can’t forget, I come from a family of engineers. And you said banner. You didn’t say what kind of banner. For all of you out there reading this, if you have an engineering kind in your midst… you know what I'm talking about.
And the sweetest part of all…
It was written by my sister-in-law…
THAT MEANS IT CAME ALL THE WAY FROM CALIFORNIA TO NEW YORK…
THIS VERY SPECIAL 8.5 X 11… I LOVE IT
I think the most amazing moment of all…
Has been the smiles and laughs of my niece and nephew.
I got to meet them for the first time about a week ago.
I asked my buddy Jeff Jumpe other day, what brings you joy? I know we both started thinking about it when the question came up in our little chat on the computer. And immediately, for me, these two precious babies came to mind.
More to come soon!!!
