Well my name is Joe, I'm a pisces, I enjoy long walks on the beach.

Let's see, I grew up in Ventura, CA. I have two brothers, one older, one younger. I studied Industrial Technology at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I love travelling, reading, camping and being outdoors, hiking, golf, and laughing and/or smiling. Who doesn't love that?
God got a hold of me about a year ago. A colleague of mine (thank you Bruce) invited me to have lunch with him once a week and talk about God. Isn't is always great to talk about God? And from that point on I just knew I wanted to surrender my life to Jesus. I'm a bit of a newbie but I don't mind, God intends to use that.
I'm definitely a people person, enjoy getting to know people, enjoy the company of others. I improve manufacturing plants for a living, which means I improve organizations, which means I improve people. In the end, its all people. Doesn't matter if it's a church or a bank or a soccer team. It's all about people. I enjoy watching people grow and improve. I love teaching and developing people.
I'm very excited about this trip. I spent a long time in prayer and looking for God to confirm that this was His will for me. Personally, I've been building my career for almost 8 years and it doesn't come lightly to give that up for my calling. But in the end I have to follow my heart and I know that God wants me to go and serve others.
I'm incredibly grateful for everyone in my life, all the blessings and opportunities given to me. I hope to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
