To start off I just want to say thank you for all your support and prayers.
It is hard to believe I just finished my junior year at north park it is crazy how quick university has flown by. I am now at home helping my parents prepare for their move to Memphis, TN and at the same time working at getting stuff ready for the World Race It is very hectic at the Ferguson house but it is so good to be home with the family.
The past few months I have been selling t-shirts which at school were a huge hit just from the people at north park I was able to raise over 500 dollars! I have a few extra left and if I get enough interest I might be able to put in another order. Ill put the pictures in my picture section so you can check them out. Also If you are in Dekalb, IL or the surrounding area my family is having a garage sale this Friday, May 23 from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday, May 24 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. If you are interested in the shirt or garage sale, in the comment section of this blog write a way for me to contact you so I can give you some information.
Some of you have asked questions about my financial support and again like my earlier update it is the one thing I was stressed about before I started support raising but God has put me so at ease. I am a little over 6,000 dollars, which puts me close to my second goal of 7,500!
If you would be willing please pray for our transition for the move. As well as continue prayer for financial support, that I continue to let God lead me during this journey, to never forget that this is about God and his kingdom not me, my squad mates that we will intimately know one another and have good family dynamics, and my relationship with Mariah that we will continue to trust and listen to whatever God has in store for us.
Again thank you for all your prayers and support!
Joe
