Hello from Swaziland everyone!
It's been about 2 weeks since we've arrived at El Shaddai Children's home and we have already felt the Father's love for this place. We've been dreaming big as a squad, thinking of ways that we can leave our mark and light a torch that others can carry on as we leave this place. We've constructed a team to develop a website for this ministry and are hoping to get it done by the end of the month.
We want these children from this home to experience the abundant life in Christ that he was talking about. We want them to have the opportunity to learn, to flourish as people, to become disciples of Jesus who are committed to the proclamation and demonstration of the Kingdom. This doesn't just come though. We have to fight for them. That's what I'm learning this month. Going to an orphanage to play with kids is great, but enabling them to dream and thrive to become leaders of their country is another thing. And that's what we pray for.
