Short term missions could be a complicated thing. On the one hand you want to help, but it sometimes seems like what you do won't really make much of an impact. On the opposite spectrum there are those who think that they can enter the country and change it forever in less than a month. Finding the healthy balance is key when it comes to this kind of work. We were able to come alongside what El Shaddai was already doing and implement some helpful resources.

Our vision was to see every kid get sponsored, but we knew that there needed to be certain resources established in order for that to happen. So we as a squad decided to make it our goal to implement a website giving everyone more information on El Shaddai. So we did. Everyone had a job and went all out with it. Some interviewed the leadership, some created a structure for the website page, some gathered all important information regarding current sponsorship, some took photos, others prayed. It was an amazing display of what God's church can do when they function as a body.

God is teaching our squad that nothing can be done alone when it comes to Kingdom work. It was never designed for lone rangers. When we unite things happen. To do otherwise is not only silly but disobedient. We're called to unite and that's what we're doing these next 9 months. We want to see big things happen with every ministry we partner with. God's waiting for people of faith to dream big. So dream BIG.
