Same church different town…….
After two weeks spending a great amount of time in Colerine, we moved to a different town, Enniskillen but working with the same church.
How can 100 miles change an attitude of a city? This topic how crossed my mind as I spend more time here and with the people. On Monday, going out and handing out FREE cans of pop and people looking at me like I am crazy. Well, maybe I am, but who would give up something FREE? If the people of Enniskillen won't take a can of FREE pop then how can they accept the FREE gift from God?
As the week has past by I have seen more and more people open up to conversations with us. Tyler, a teammate, started talking to a guy that speaks a different language. He talked to him for three hours about who God is and is going to talk to the guy more. So maybe a little bit of LOVE can go a long ways.
Throughout my time in both cities God has been able to show me a church that is willing to serve and love their community.
Throughout my month in Ireland I have learned about opening up to the Holy Spirit and listening to Him. Working with a church that does healing, it has opened my eyes to the power of the Holy Spirit. Am I comfortable with it? I would say not yet. This process is one that is going to take me a while. I am working on hear His voice and doing what I am told.
