I am EXCITED!!!!!
That is the only way to describe how I feel about up coming training camp (two weeks away) and up coming launch (is only 58 days away!!)
Oh did I forget to mention that I now have met my next deadline and will be able to LAUNCH in JULY!!!!!! Praise God is all I have to say about that. This means I only have another $9,000 to raise in order to be fully funded. Which funny enough does not seem like that much more to raise. This is a total testament to God working in my life because I was seriously stressed and doubtful that I could even raise/save enough to get to launch.
I am truly trying to have no expectations about what is to come, this is hard to do though. Luckily for me I have never done a mission trip so I don’t have anything to compare this to. I do know though I am beyond excited to meet my team mates. I already know they are such Godly men and women who are willing to put their whole life on hold in order to say Yes to God and be in alignment with His will for their lives. There is some fear about going to training camp, I mean I don’t really know anyone that well and I am sure that we all have different personalities and life experiences. My goal though it to be myself and as open as possible because this whole thing will be for not if I am not open. Real community can only happen if we are open and honest, this is where freedom will be found. Plus I can always hold onto the fact that they are stuck with me anyways even if they do see my ugly side. 🙂
So as training camp and launch are approaching I am beyond excited, and expecting of what God will do in our lives as well as how He will use us in each community!!
