How was training camp? – The one question I am continually asked but lack the words to explain.

To sum up, training camp was a roller coaster. God broke me down so He could build me back up and teach me so much in the process.

I learned that over forty people can fall asleep on a school bus, that bucket showers can be lots of fun, and that sometimes peeing in a bush is better than using a porta potty.

I learned that I will be serving with this amazing team in Guatemala, Thailand, and Botswana over the next nine months.

I learned that God is far to big and far to powerful to be kept in a box.

I learned that no matter how undeserving I am God LOVES ME and God CHOSE ME

I learned that the Holy Spirit is real and moving through his people and there is so much more to God than the theological things we are taught about him. God is physically real and full of power and authority.

Finally I learned that these next nine months beginning in September are going to be tough. I will be uncomfortable and I will be exhausted. But I will not be relying on my own strength to get by. I serve a God who literally heals the sick and raises the dead and he will take care of me as he takes care of his children around the world.

God is so so good!! I have raised $10,135. That means I only have $2,353 left to go. Thank you all so much for your support and prayers. I have only a few short weeks to get the rest of the funds in so any donations would be appreciated. But more importantly I would like to ask for your prayers. That I will become fully funded but also so that I will remain present in the few weeks I have left at home before leaving in September.
