I have no doubt that this year is going to be a journey of faith. A process of learning how to give up control. I have many fears and questions, and with all the unknown I have realized that there is NO WAY I could be doing any of this on my own.
I wanted to give you all a quick update on my fundraising. Thanks to all your generous hearts, I already have over $7000 in my fundraising account and was able to send in a cheque meeting my deadline of $9000 due June 27th. This leaves me needing a total of $3488 to be fully funded and ready to leave for The World Race.
I am blown away from all the support I have received all ready. THANK YOU so much to everyone who has donated. It has been so humbling to see how God works everything together and I am feeling super blessed by all your support and generosity. Thank you also to everyone who has been there to encourage me as I began this journey. These have been a crazy few months getting ready to leave and I have needed all the prayers and words of encouragement you have all given me to prepare for this adventure.
In a little over two months I will be on a plane leaving this country for almost a year. I know God has incredible things planned for me and I am so excited to have this opportunity and spread the gospel around the world. Please help me get there!
