Exposed.  Out there.  For all to see.  Open to rejection.  Painful, even.  But it can be just as glorious.   I have always been a fan of low tide.  The exposed marsh mud looks dirty and uninviting.  But if you look closer, it exposes the reason for life.  It reveals the reason the shrimp and crabs thrive.  It exposes mud that filters the dirt and toxins out of the water, only to send the water back out to the sea for us to frolic and play in.  Although seemingly unattractive, it is the catalyst of life.
And yet, there I was.  Monday night we had girls night, in which I shared my story and my heart and passion for women.  For women to learn how they were created and who they were created to be.  The next morning, every lie that I told them had been redeemed in my life crawled right back into my heart and became real.  I had to fight the heaviness and pain of the vulnerability and move into the beauty of it.  Move into the exposure, however hard it felt and choose the truth of the life it brings.
