My mom and I got to spend five amazing days together in the beautiful city of Antigua in the country of Guatemala. We shared coffee, joy, and laughter as we discussed what had happened in both of our lives for the past EIGHT months. I wanted to summarize these days in some pictures:

(my mom and the other parents arriving in Guat city)

(a beautiful street in Antigua, and a common “auto” (taxi) for transport)

(motorcycles line the street. main market starts in upper left side of screen)

(our ATL (ask the Lord) day, we handed out flowers, hugs, and prayers in the middle of the market to 80+ year old woman who couldn’t walk)

(POZE- do we look alike?)

(one more with the main city arch in the background)

(painting a wall with children at a ministry outside of Antigua)

(they also do a daily feeding program)

(we lead a singing program for them to participate in)

(just look how adventurous my mom is, riding in the back of pickups we don’t know the driver of and everything else crazy that I did and she participated in)

(DUMP ministry in Guat city)

(making friends all over the place)

(two beautiful children who live close by the dump)

(the final day, my mom loved zip lining!)

(my zip lining video!)

(one of my favorites!)

This was an incredible bonding experience for both of us and I am so happy that this trip was possible for my mom to take. It is something that I will remember for the rest of my life and I thank God for keeping us both healthy and safe throughout the time we spent together.
