I’m still in the process of editing all my footage from June. (I know I’m slacking a bit.) But, I had to take some time to process the time I spent in Swaziland. If you want to watch my Swaziland series, follow my YouTube channel that is just my name, Jocelyn Song. I will also link my account below.
I owe this entire experience to God. Sometimes I think back on my trip and think, “Man, was I really in Africa?” Traveling thousands and thousands of miles away from home is something I would never have seen myself doing. But, when God calls you, you drop everything and go. And, I’m glad I did so.
Everything I learned from training camp, from my time at the carepoints, from the people I did ministry with has been incredibly rewarding. I have never cried as much as I had in the span of those few weeks. The Holy Spirit was working through me, and I had a blast being reminded of God’s nature. How good He is. How kind He is. How funny He is. How forgiving He is. How loving He is.
I feel like I can never say it enough but ngiyabonga, Swaziland. Thank you. I love you.
