I’m currently sitting in the Atlanta airport. I have been waiting for this day for so long and it’s hard to believe it’s finally here.
My dream is actually coming true. When our Father plants hopes and dreams in our hearts, I think He delights in seeing them become reality.
I have spent the last few days with my squad going through classes and preparing to leave for 11 months. The World Race leadership team has done a great job of loving, encouraging, and preparing us to leave.
My heart is so excited for what the Lord is going to do. I can’t wait to travel the world, hold an orphan, sit with the widow, hike mountains, see His beautiful creation, and love on all of God’s people all around the world. This is going to be the most amazing experience of my life.
As I reflect on all the preparation it took for me to get to this point, I’m so thankful that the Lord has prepared me. He has anointed me. He has called me. He has chosen me. I have full confidence in this truth. I get to adventure with my Father all over the world for the next 11 months.
My heart is open to whatever He has for me. I want him to teach me, challenge me, stretch me, guide me, and take me deeper. There is so much MORE. So much more. And I can’t wait to experience it!
