I wrote this a little over a year ago and thought I would share it with you all. It is my prayer, even now, as I have now left my home, my country, and my comforts for nearly a year to follow the Lord. God is so faithful.

Back to the beginning
When I was young
Running through the fields with You
This has been my prayer for the last week or so. To go back. I want Jesus to take me back to the beginning. Back to the excitement I once had to just be with Him. I want to be so enthralled with Him and be so sure of His character that the idea of what lies ahead isn’t scary. That the things the Lord calls me to aren’t daunting. I want to run at the adventures He sets up for me with no hesitation and no regard for danger. Because my God is loving, trustworthy, and worth getting excited about.
