Today, Keeley and I felt called to go to a little spot of grass that we’ve lovingly come to call “Cat Park” (because of the cat who is always perched on top of the newspaper box). We prayed out loud for those who passed by, for the people who live in the apartment complex we could see, for the men and women within the country, and for the refugee family who was sitting adjacent from us and begging. We prayed for tourists who travel looking for adventure to “fix” their problems, for women and girls caught in sex trafficking, for those in Thessaloniki who are grappling with addiction, and for Christians to move into places and areas where the light of the Lord is so desperately needed. I found myself so thankful that God knows every detail of every person who passed by Cat Park today, even if we don’t even know their name. God loves hearing our prayers, as huge or tiny as we many feel they are, and He delights in conversing with His children.
