Hey friends, family, beloved readers…
We made it safely to Hong Kong and are gearing up for Race Day! Our orientation with our ministry partners here was fantastic and China will be the first truly sensitive place we will have been all year. I’m completely stoked about meeting young adult students, engaging in a Cultural Exchange program where we’ll learn Chinese calligraphy, misc. art forms, cooking, etc.
The even more exciting news is that before you hear from me again, we will have visited the Great Wall of China and Tieneman Square in Beijing (home to the 2008 upcoming Olympics!).
Because of the sensitive nature of our time here, we have been asked to go pretty much radio silent from our end. We will try, if possible, to keep people updated through the channels of the base office so you won’t be without news though you may not hear it from us directly.
Pray for our time in China – the harvest is ready!
