If any of you have heard my World Race story, you will probably have heard about how close I got to a family of missionaries in Mozambique.  Jaco and Maria Rudolph and their children Maggie and Rudo are South African but have dedicated their lives to reaching the orphans and lost in Vilanculos, Mozambique.

I received this e-mail from Jaco yesterday:

“Hi Jimmy.

We are as a family going thru a very difficult time. I went for a small operation on Thursday and will know today ( Monday ) if I have cancer of the glands. This is really very difficult for me it is as if my mind keep on running away all the time thinking about ” what if “. What about my family and the ministry. Then I just say to myself but God is in controle. Please pray for us we really need it.

Love Jaco”

This family has hosted several generations of World Racers since my time with them in May of 2007.  They are partners in the kingdom work and are changing Africa as we know it for God’s glory.  Please pray for their family that they would have peace in the midst of the storm, that God would provide more laborers to help the family reach out and that should God will, Jaco would be miraculously healed and would be able to continue his kingdom work in Mozambique.
