I’ve arrived into Panajachel, Guatemala in Lake Atitlan. I consider myself blessed to even be able to be here right now – it’s beautiful and I get to do the kind of ministry I love. I’m here with 21 World Racers at the end of their 11 month experience. In 5 days they return to the United States to re-enter American society and the tone is, in general, bittersweet.

I’ve had a great time catch up with these guys, we were able to meet them right as they arrived into southern Africa back in June of 07. They were excited, terrified, exhilirated and every emotion in between. The journey of the last 11 months has been a series of high highs and low lows. Every single life has been impacted and the USA is about to see 21 individuals return with an unbelievable perspective on life, ministry, missions and who God truly is.

It’s amazing and sad all at the same time. Their about to leave a lifestyle that’s ridiculously hard physically and emotionally yet are also leaving a community that has been fought for and a lifestyle that impacts the world almost every day.

Pray for this squad as they return home. They have so much to tell and so much to offer – yet are in a state of intense transition. God has some amazing plans for this next season in each of their lives.
