Our first day in Swaziland was crazy. We arrived at the bottom of the mountain at 1am in the pouring rain.
Since they don’t have paved roads our bus couldn’t get up and long story short…I ended up hiking up the mountain at 5 in the morning for about 3 miles.
Since the first day I slept..I woke up at about 4 in the morning the next day right when the sun was rising.
It was so peaceful, quiet, and still. The sunrise is something that I have gotten to see a lot this race. Either by choice or by force and it has been beautiful each time.
There is something special about a sunrise as opposed to a sunset. The sunrise shows us that God is still being faithful to us even though through years and years of disappointment…He still loves us. He still blesses us. He still gives us the sun.
I am half way through the race. I need to blog more.
I love all you crazy people out there reading this and I miss you probably more than you know.
I am only $2,000 away from reaching my deadline. God will provide and He is always good.
