This month we have been in Moshi, Tanzania, working with a local church. Team “Unveiled” is partnered with another team from the squad. We have been doing many different ministries around the community. We also have Mt. Kilimanjaro right out our front window, which never gets old to see.

Can I be honest? Well I haven’t had much of a connection here in Tanzania. I am trying not to compare it to Kenya, but I miss Kenya. I haven’t really like Tanzania, and am very excited about Mozambique next month. Our ministry has been really slow, and I have felt lazy all month, and just haven’t felt connected here.

Well since God has many surprises, last weekend we had a great one! Last weekend we went to a Masai village to go and meet, talk, and pray for the people in the village. Let me just say the Masai village saved Tanzania for me!
We had such an amazing time there, and immediately as our team stepped out of the van we felt more welcomed than we have all month.

We first got to join with some women of the church there. Then we all went out through the
          bush and met the village.

            I fell in LOVE!

We met old Mamma’s that needed healing

Children that only gave smiles….

Ok. Some were scared so there were some tears…

And families that needed encouraged.

The next day we went again for their Sunday church service.  We felt as if we were family. They also gave us gifts, by showering us with beautiful flowers, as a symbolization of love and family.

We truly did fall in love.  Years down the road when I think about the World Race, and think about Tanzania, there will no longer be a bad taste in my mouth. I will think of that village, and the time we were blessed to have with them.

Thank you Masai Village of Joshua you saved Tanzania.
