So here's the thing, for the first 3 months I was on a coed team. It wasn't without its hardships and its problems but I enjoyed most of my time with those people. So when asked to be a team leader it was hard to move from being on that team to even thinking about being on another team. Team changes are hard for everyone. It's hard for you, your old team, your new team, and even just the people around you. But here are a few (very few) things I was learned about team changes.

1. No matter what your feelings about your old team; you bring those thought and feelings into your new team.

2. Even if you have others on your team that are from your old team it still takes time to adjust to this new team.

3. What ever you do, you can NOT bury your old teams issues. I promise they will come up in some way or another on this new team.

4. Your team leader will be comparing themselves to your old team leader. Don't do it for them.

5. Commitment is important. Be committed to your new team. You may be on the new team for one month or 10 months. Either way God has placed them there for a reason and they are worth your time and energy to get to know and to learn from.

Remember that God had put you with these people for a reason. He has great plans for you. This isn't just for people going on the race. Sometimes we are put with people people for a season and they they are taken away. Or sometimes our coworkers change and we have to readjust. These things will help us to understand eachother just a little better.

I say this all so that I can tell you about the team I was bless to work with this month.

Darcie Nicholson- My treasurer likes coffee, people, and a good rocking chair. She also makes me laugh by being silly and dancing.

Sara Anders- Likes kids, chocoalate, and being with other people. She invests in people and loves well.

Shanda Best- Likes coffee, walks, and movies. She invests in everyone around her. She fights for what you need.

Haleigh Moore- Like walks, heart to hearts, and chocolate. She is a fighter. She has been super ill and is back in the states to recover. But she is doing so much better and we hope to see her soon!

Heater Lawton- Likes dark chocolate, yellow roses, and sunsets on the beach. Loves to share her knowledge. She is a teacher at heart (even if she doesn't know it).

Elizabeth Shouse- Likes long walks on the beach, movies, and horseback riding. Is so kind. She puts others first and loves hard.

This team has been a HUGE blessing to me and even though we are going through a season where we will be changing teams again I know why God has placed them in my life. I love each one of them dearly and wouldn't have changed a single one of them. So thanks ladies for this amazing month. You will always be WORTH it!
