Hey everyone,

Its been a while since I updated you on what's going on. We finished debrief last weekend and have been at New Song in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua. Debrief was great we hung out with our squad and got to just relax for a few days. And my idea of relax included an amazing boat tour of Nicaragua Lake and a beautiful sunset along with an epic hike up a volcano. It was amazing.

This month we are living in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua. Upon telling people we were headed here we were told one thing over and over again. It's hot there. Turns out chichigalpa is one of the hottest towns in Nicaragua. It is always around 90-100 degrees with easily 90% humidity. Always. And this is there winter! It is hot. I am always sweating here.

I wish I had a great story for you but so far at New Song we have just been building relationships with people. I have met some amazing people here and gotten to hang out with youth. Which most of you know I love to do. I have been playing with young kids as well and just loving this ministry. I wish it was less humid here but the people make it worth it.

I have been reminded this last week of how much God has blessed me. God has opened my heart so wide to these people and I can see why racers love coming To Nicaragua. I'm excited to dive deeper with these people this next week.

I miss my family and friends a lot this month and have had some serious home sickness but I love what I am doing here and the people make it worth it every day. Love you all!
