Hello friends!

I know that I have been writing some pretty emotional blogs lately, but I thought I would write a quick blog on some logistics, including a financial update, the route change my squad learned of at training camp, and how you can stay updated on my journey around the world!

Can I just say that our God is amazing, and the way He provides is so amazing? For those of you who have been following closely, you know that a little over three weeks ago, I was facing "crunch time" in reaching my second financial goal.

See, in that time frame, I saw the Lord bring in almost $3,000. It has been so humbling and exciting to see the way He has provided for me so far, and I can't wait to watch Him continue to work.

I am so excited to announce that as of Thursday I had officially reached my second financial goal, allowing me to be reunited with my V Squad family on September 7th and launch to our first country on September 10th.

I am beyond grateful to those who have given so far, but I do want to be honest with you in where I stand for my next two financial goals. As of right now, my account reads $6,670, which means I am still in need of $9,615 to reach my final goal of $16,285. The next two financial deadlines are as follows:

  • December 1st I need to see $11,000 in my account.
  • March 1st I need to have the full $16,285 in my account.

I do want to be clear that donations take time to process. We have been told that checks that are mailed can take up to two weeks to process, and online donations can take up to four days. So if you are waiting to donate, please keep this in mind for the upcoming deadlines.

If you are interested, you can give in a few ways. You can give a one-time gift either by clicking Support Me to the left or you can cut out the processing fee by sending a check made out to Adventures in Missions with WebbJillian in the memo line to:

Adventures in Missions
PO Box 534470
Atlanta, GA 30353-4470

You can also sign up to give a monthly amount. If you are interested in giving monthly, please contact me so I can help walk you through that process.

The final way you can help me out is by ordering a t-shirt for $20. I still have about 35 extra shirts, so if you are interested in buying one, please let me know! If you would like to see a picture of the shirts, you can flip back through my earlier blogs to the one titled T-shirts!

Second order of business: route change! For those of you who follow my Facebook group, you are already aware of the route change, but it occurred to me today that I haven't posted our route changes in my blog yet, so here it is when I first signed up the countries we were scheduled to serve in were:

Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, Ukraine, Romania, India, and Nepal.

Four of those countries have been changed and as of right now our route is as follows (changes are in bold):

Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malawi, Swaziland, Mozambique, Ukraine, Romania, India, and Nepal.

These countries are subject to change throughout the course of our trip due to a variety of reasons, but as of right now these are the countries we are scheduled to go to.

Finally, I just want to thank all of you so much for the amount of encouragement and support each of you have given me throughout this season of preparation. It is what has kept me going and I am so grateful for the role you have played in my Race so far. I would love for each of you to have the chance to keep updated throughout the course of my trip. So if you would like to do so, please click Subscribe to the left to sign up for alerts every time I post to my blog. Or you can contact me with your email so I can sign up for you.

Thank you again for your prayers, encouragement, and support. Please continue to pray for my squad as we spend these next few weeks embracing our family and friends at home and preparing to leave for this amazing journey.
